I'm not so petty as to deny someone their dues and if you think I'm being disingenuous about your intellect that's more of a you issue. You're exceptionally diligent, intelligent, and capable. After all, I wouldn't be here if you weren't. That isn't so much flattery as me having (very gorgeous) eyes.

My accolades and the sincerity of your words are two separate matters. I believe in my own capability and my accomplishments. What is in question is whether you truly mean such words when, for all intents and purposes, you are subject to my mercy.
