Hardly. Sometimes, a person's truth is indeed horrible by any measure, liiiike being certain you need to kill in order to feel something for yourself, for example.

But it comes down to something you own. You.

You even said yourself, all this was decided for you because of your birth and circumstance. That isn't yours.

And if I had said I had accepted this was my fate?

Truth is a very delicate word, Lessariel. It is constrained between perspective and objective fact. Just because I wish for something does not mean it can be made reality. The ideal truth you seek- one that is wholly the creation of its bearer- is not always a possibility.

Why's that, for you? Why do you accept it? Why do you think anything else is beyond you?
